William R. Anderson

            William "Bill" R. Anderson, age 77, of Alpena, passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at home.

            On September 5, 1943, William was born to the late Russell Anderson and Lillian (Stafford) Rucinski in Alpena, Michigan.  He served in the US Army, upon returning from the service he worked for a Home Day Care Center. Bill enjoyed spending his time at family gatherings, barbeques, playing cards and board games, taking walks, reading and expressing his Catholic Faith in the Lord.

            He is survived by one sister: Pamela (Douglas) Rohde of Hudson, WI; and several nieces and nephews.

            He was preceded in death by his mother: Lillian Rucinski, father: Russell Anderson and one sister: Jeanne (Jack) McDonald.

            Family and friends will gather for Visitation at Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home on Saturday, July 10, 2021, from 12:00 noon until the Funeral Service begins at 2:00 pm with Fr. James Fitzpatrick officiating at Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home.

            Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery

            In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of friend's choice in Memory of Bill.
