Susan K Szatkowski

Susan K. Szatkowski, age 70, of Alpena, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at home on Wednesday, July 13, 2016.
Sue was born on July 13, 1946 to the late Leo and Alice (Chabot) Dziesinski in Detroit, MI. She was a School Bus Driver for the Alpena Public Schools retiring after 38 years in 2010. She enjoyed spending her time gambling, going fishing, baking and working in her flower garden.
She is survived by her loving husband Francis Szatkowski of 53 years, their children: Tom Szatkowski, Jeanette Werda, and Tim (Tanya) Szatkowski all of Alpena. Her eight grandchildren: Thomas II, and Jessica Szatkowski, Robert, William and Lindsey Werda; Sabrina, Eric, and Michael Szatkowski; two great-grandchildren Maddox and Sebastian. Along with her two brothers: Lonnie (Sheryl) Dziesinski of Alpena, Mike (JoAnne) Dziesinski of FL, and her two sisters: Lynda Russell of Alpena, Pat (Gene) Knight of FL. Several nieces and nephews.
Sue is preceded in death by her son Terry Szatkowski and her brother Leon Dziesinski.
She has been taken for cremation by the Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home.
A Private Family Memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
