Rose Mary Dohn

Rose Mary (Gregory) Manley Dohn, a.k.a. Gramma Rosie, 84, of Lachine passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday July 13th 2023.
Rose Mary was a kind, loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.  She will be dearly missed.
Rose Mary was born in Dearborn, MI on April 8th, 1939 to Charles and Ethel (Rogers) Gregory "The Greats".  She was raised in the Dearborn area where she met and married Richard Manley.  They later settled Up North in the Long Rapids area where they raised their children and had many wonderful friends.
Rose, like her mother, was an avid flower gardener and for a time operated her own greenhouse business.  She also enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.  In her later years she loved to watch figure skating on t.v. and the birds and squirrels from her window.
Rose Mary is survived by her three beloved children, Charleen (Bruce) Dubie of Lachine, Greg (Debbie) Manley of Hillman, and Jeff (Margie) Manley of Alpena, seven grandchildren, Trisha (Seth Manske) Dubie, Michael (Danielle) Dubie, Ashley (Jerry) Anderson, Molly Manley, Mikie Manley, Ayla Manley and Chandler Manley, seven great grandchildren, Ethel, Wyatt and Maddison, Dylan and Jeremiah, Silas and Severus and Niece Tracy (Gregory) Wassmer.  Rose Mary was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Ethel Gregory, her brother Charles Gregory, and her nephew Chuckie Gregory.
Rose Mary has been taken for cremation from Karpus Hunter & Ross Funeral Home. A celebration of Rose’s life will be on Saturday, Aug. 19, 2023 at the Jeff Manley residence from 2pm until 4pm with a memorial service at 3pm with Rev. Leslie Nye officiating.
