Rodney R. Poczontek

Rodney R. Poczontek, age 68, of Hillman, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at home surrounded by his family.
On November 28, 1948, Rodney was born to the late Frank and Helen (Potts) Poczontek in Flint, Michigan. He worked at Chevolet Metal Fabrication before retiring after 32 years. September 12, 1980, he married Sandra Stephens in Las Vegas, NV. Rodney served in the United States Army during Viet Nam and is a member of the V.F.W. Post in Hillman, Michigan.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Sandy, and their two sons Jeffrey (Debbie Burt) Huss of Clio, MI and Stephen (Mandi) Huss of Montrose, MI.
His four grandchildren Zac Wiltse, Josh, Brittany, and Fletcher Huss. One brother Doug Poczontek; two sisters Vicky Moore, Val (Dave) Cooper, and his special niece and nephew: Sam Cooper and Jackie Hopkins.
Per his wishes Rodney has been taken from the Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home for cremation.
