Peggy L. Gauthier

Peggy L. Gauthier, age 64, of Alpena passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at home following an extended illness.

            On January 18, 1954, Peggy was born in Alpena, Michigan to William and Betty (Hanner) Gauthier. Peggy enjoyed working in her flower garden and spending time with her grandchildren.

            She is survived by her best friend and companion Pat Swartzinski; her three children: Chad (Ann) Prittie of OH; Heather Hoos of Alpena, MI; and Kimbo LaFave of Black River, MI; eight grandchildren: Ella, Grace, Sonny, Brooke, Matthew, McKenzie, McCayla, and Taylor. Her father William "Bill" Gauthier of Ossineke, MI; two brothers Wayne Gauthier of Alpena, MI; and Steve Gauthier of Ossineke, MI; three sisters: Beverly (Pat) Bays of Ossineke, MI; Bonnie Carriveau of Alpena, MI; and Elizabeth (Lee) Cobleigh of Genesse Co, MI; along with several nieces and nephews.

            She was preceded in death by her mother Betty Gauthier, and one brother William J. Gauthier

            Per Peggy's wishes she has been taken from the Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home for cremation. A private Memorial Gathering will be held at a later date.
