Patricia L. Orban

Patricia L. Orban, 86, of Alpena passed away March 18, 2022 at Medilodge of Greenview.  Patricia was born on October 18, 1935 to John and Flossie (Johnson) Byers in Alpena.  She married William "Bill" Orban on November 27, 1952 in Alpena and they spent 52 years together before Bill passed away on June 2, 2004.  Patricia worked for 26 years as a CNA at Tendercare of Alpena, retiring in 1997. 

   Pat is survived by four children:  William (Jennifer) Orban Jr., Randy (Lynette) Orban , Thomas (Vicki) Orban, all of Alpena and Steven (Karen) Orban of Midland.  She also leaves twelve grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.  Six siblings also survive:  Marjorie (Arthur) McKenzie of Florida, Bonnie (Paul) Black of Saginaw,  Lori (Wayne) Gagnon of Alpena, Larry "Tony" (Margie) Byers of Florida, Ken (Mary) Byers of Alpena and William "Doc" (Gayle) Byers of Alpena.  Patricia was preceded in death by her brothers, Ronald Byers, James Byers and Gerald Byers.

   Visitation for Patricia will be held March 22, 2022 at Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral service begins at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Michael Lingaur officiating.  Her final resting place will be at Pleasant View Cemetery in Spruce.
