Norman H Brown

Norman H. Brown, age 81, of Alpena, MI, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Lincoln Haven in Lincoln, MI.

            He was born on December 21, 1938, in Detroit, MI, to the late Norman and Barbara(Rockwell) Brown. He married Carolyn Murphy on March 17, 1999 in LasVegas, NV. Norman served in the United States Navy for four years as a boiler technician and a hull technician. He attended the Ford Motor Company apprentice program and later became an employee for Ford Motor Company. Norman was member of the Ossineke Eagles, and Alpena Moose and Am Vets. He loved hunting, fishing, bowling, golfing, and enjoying a tall cold one with his family and friends.

            Norman is survived by his beloved bride Carolyn Brown; four children Mary Dalessandro of Mesa, AZ; Kimberly(Chuck) Morton of Louisville, KY; Annette (Bill) McCord of Kingman, AZ; Matthew (Debbie) Brown of Grafton, OH; three step-children Raymond (Rayna) French of Romulus, MI; Roxanne (Dan) Misiak of Alpena, MI; Shannon(Gary) Schrader; one sister Debbie (Russ) Bragg; 22 grandchildren; 10 great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

            He is preceded in death by one sister Sandy; two brothers David, Don and one granddaughter Samantha.

            Per his wishes he was been taken from Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home for cremation.

            There will be private family services held at a later date.
