Michael Lee Kerr

Michael Lee Kerr, age 60, of Ossineke, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2016 at the Mid-Michigan Regional Medical Center Alpena.
Michael was born on September 30, 1955 to the late Marvin and Marilyn (Kalbach) Kerr in Norfolk, Virginia. He was a Systems Analysts for the Target Company for 26 years. Michael enjoyed listening to and attending concerts of Jimmie Buffet and Jackson Brown. He also loved his animals and animal rescue.
Michael is survived by his brother Mark (Peggy) Kerr of Alpena; three sisters: Marla Southard of Gautier, Miss; Melia (LeRoy) Sexton Jr. of Gautier, Miss; and Alicia Kalbach of AZ. Also, Mike's nieces and nephews: Gary Wayne (Ashleigh) Southard, Maria Aristizabal, Tracy (Brian) Suszek, Trevor (Melissa) Storms, Sonny "LeRoy" (Amber) Sexton III, and Nathan (Lauren) Sexton along with several great nieces and nephews. His special friend Natalie Francis. Mike's faithful companion Cheyenne.
Family and friends will gather for a Memorial Visitation at the Karpus- Hunter Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. The Memorial Service begins at 7 p.m. with Rev. Douglas Bliss officiating.
