Louis R. Stezelecki

Louis R. Strzelecki, age 86, of Alpena passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at Mid-Michigan Medical Center of Alpena surrounded by his family.
On February 20, 1931, Louis was born to the late Frank and Lillian (Hepburn) Strzelecki in Alpena, Michigan. He worked for Alpena Paving/ Goodrich Paving for 47 years and he later was a greeter for Wal-Mart for 10 years.
He is survived by his 7 children: Carl McCready, Karen McCready, Evelyn Brilinski, April (Paul) Levitt, Tarra (Ernie) Edwards, Darek (Debbie) Strzelecki all of Alpena, MI; Jill (Dennis) Noyce of Gladwin, MI; and his 19 grandchildren,
34 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Louis was preceded in death by one son Jim McCready; great-grandson Dillion Clark; great-great granddaughter Savanah Noyce; four brothers: Derward Leski; Lawrence, Lee, and infant brother Gerald Strzelecki; former wife and friend Alice Strzelecki.
Family and friends will gather for visitation at Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home on Monday, January 22, 2018, from 11 am until the Funeral Service begins at 3 pm with Rev. Scott Pheiffer officiating at Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home.
Internment: Holy Cross Cemetery
