Kevin L. Mackenzie

Kevin L. MacKenzie, 63, of Spruce, Michigan passed away suddenly at home December 2, 2021 after an extended illness.  Kevin was born July 25, 1958 to Orville and Shirley (Schryer) MacKenzie in Alpena.  He married Lyn Elpers on August 28, 1999.  Kevin worked as an underground utility installer putting in fiber optic lines for Utility Contractors of Saginaw. 

Kevin is survived by his beloved wife of twenty-two years, Lyn; mother, Shirley MacKenzie of Alpena; brothers Mike (Christine) MacKenzie of Seattle, Washington and Scott MacKenzie of Alpena; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.  He was preceded by his father, Orville MacKenzie, sister in law, Lori MacKenzie and nephew, Christopher Kolbe.

Memorial visitation will be held Friday, December 10, 2021 starting at 12:00 p.m. at Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home.  A Memorial Service will begin at 2:00 p.m.  Kevin's final resting place will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Alpena.  Condolences may be made to the family online at www.karpushuntercares.com
