Evelyn C. Mousseau

Evelyn C. Mousseau, age 88, of Alpena, passed away peacefully in Florida, on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, surrounded by her family.
Evelyn was born to the late Adelore and Lillian (Gamache) Rouleau on September 11, 1928, in Alpena, Michigan. On August 18, 1947, she married Wayne Mousseau at St. Anne Catholic Church in Alpena. Wayne preceded her in death on September 10, 2009. Evelyn worked for Montgomery Ward as a bookkeeper for 30 years. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, St. John's Alter Society, and Daughters of Isabella.
She is survived by her three children: Marcia Georgi of Pace, FL; Steven (Maureen) Mousseau of Alpena, MI; and Kevin (Laurie) Mousseau of Alpena, MI. Her 18 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, her four brothers Charles Rouleau of Alpena, MI; William (Dorothy) Rouleau of Alpena, MI; James (Lolly) Rouleau of Presque Isle, MI; Joseph (Marcia) Rouleau of Alpena, MI; her sister Carol Lutes of Alpena, MI; and several nieces and nephews.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her two sons Randy Mousseau, Kirk Mousseau, grandson Paul Mousseau, her brother Donald Rouleau, her four sisters Phyllis Mortimer, Donna Rouleau, Marie Rouleau and Lucille McCrandle.
Family and friends will gather for Memorial Visitation at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on March 18, 2017, at 11am until the Mass of Christian Burial begins at 12pm with Fr. Joe Muszkiewicz officiating. Arrangements are being handled through the Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home.
