Dolores M. Kruczynski
Dolores M. Kruczynski, 90, of Alpena passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, November 5, 2021. On August 17, 1931 she was born in Alpena, Michigan to the late Anthony and Mary (Schultz) Smigleski. On July 7, 1951 she married Leo at St. Mary Catholic Church by Fr. George Klimas, and they were married for 66 years until his death on March 11, 2018. Leo and Dolores owned and operated Alpena Meat Wholesale for 28 years.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church of All Saints Parish, the Rosary Society of All Saints Parish, loved going to card parties, playing bingo and was a past volunteer for Huron Shore Little League. Dolores played a big role in her Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren's lives by attending their sporting events. We would never leave out that she was the best Polish cook around.
Dolores cherished her family, including her six children: Kathy (Craig) Dean, Mike (Peggy) Kruczynski, Bill (Mary Jane) Kruczynski, Sue (Harold) Wilson, John Kruczynski and Mary (Mike) Tanner; seven grandchildren, Brian, Eric, Chad, Tracy, Tommy, Boone, and Kristin and seven great- grandchildren; Gage, Jacob, Madison, Benson, Max, Breckyn and Caleb. Dolores was proceeded by seven siblings; Trace, Helen, Martha, Joseph, Edward, Frank and Thomas and is survived by one sister, Margaret Piontkowski, sister-in law Irene Smigelski and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 10, 2021 starting at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church of All Saints Parish. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Tyler Bischoff officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may made to Hospice of Michigan, 145 N.
