Dolores J. Roznowski

Dolores J. Roznowski, age 80, of Herron, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 21, 2018, at Mid-Michigan Medical Center of Alpena.

            On August 19, 1937, Dolores was born to the late Walter and Nellie (Jarcz) Kamyszek in Belknap Township, Michigan. She married Leonard Roznowski on September 15, 1956, at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Metz, Michigan. Leonard preceded her in death on December 25, 2001. Dolores was a cook for the Alpena General Hospital for 25 years before retiring in 1998. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.

            Dolores is survived by her two brothers: Stephen (Janet) Kamyszek of Rogers City, MI; Leonard (Louise) Kamyzszek of Cederville, MI; one sister: Elnore Greene of Rogers City, MI and several nieces and nephews.

            She was preceded in death by her infant son.

            Family and friends will gather on Thursday, May 24, 2018, for Visitation at Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home from 2 pm until 8pm, with a Parish Prayer Service at 7 pm. Visitation will continue on Friday, May 25, 2018, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church from 10 am until the 11 am Mass of Christian Burial begins with Fr. Michael Conner officiating.

            Internment: Holy Cross Cemetery
