David Joseph Couillard

David Joseph Couillard, 91, of Alpena, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023 at MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena. He was a kind, caring, and loving, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend that will be dearly missed. He was born on February 25, 1932 to the late Charles and Anna (Lipski) Couillard in Alpena. David was very proud to have served his country in the United States Army.

On November 13, 1953 he joined hands in marriage to the love of his life, Marylyn Snyder in San Francisco, California.

There were many things that David enjoyed throughout his life such as, woodworking and carpentry, but nothing that brought him greater joy than spending time with his family.

He is survived by six children, Diana Stepanski, Barbara Pelleran, Mary (Gary) Setcoski, Patti Morey, June Snyder, and David Couillard II, a sister Joann Montie, a brother, Daniel Couillard, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Norma Seguin, a grandson Bryan Snyder Jr., and sons in law Randy Stepanski, and Bryan Snyder Sr.
