David Paul Blossom

David Paul Blossom, born on September 24, 1959, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away on August 15,2024, at My Michigan Medical Center Alpena. He was a proud veteran, having served his country in the United States Marines. David's passion for life extended beyond his military service. He loved fishing, immersing himself in the world of westerns, and indulging in mechanic shows. Music was another significant part of his life, providing him joy and companionship.

He is survived by his significant other of 18 years, Rosemary Smith; two children, Rose-Anne (Barry Fagan) Blossom and Steven (Margie) Blossom; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. David was also cherished by his parents, Paul Blossom and Gertrude Woodard, as well as all of his siblings.

He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Karen.

A Celebration of Life will be held at A.E. Ross Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM with Military Honors accorded by VFW Post 2496 starting at 1:30 PM.

David leaves behind a rich legacy of love, resilience, and cherished memories that will be carried on by those who knew him. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution to the family to assist with final expenses.
