Charlotte Marie Allen, age 59, of Alpena, Michigan, passed away on February 14, 2025 at Munson Medical Center Traverse City. Born on November 26, 1965, in Alpena, Michigan, Charlotte was the cherished daughter of the late William and Carrie (King) Arpin. A graduate of Alpena High School, Charlotte carried a warmth and kindness into everything she did throughout her life.
Her greatest legacy lies in her role as a devoted homemaker. While she worked a variety of jobs, none compared to her pride and joy of raising her children and caring for her grandchildren. Charlotte’s nurturing spirit was evident in the way she embraced her family, and she found immense happiness cooking and baking for her family, and in spending time with her grandchildren. Whether it was through shared laughter over game shows or her profound love of music, her heart was always open, creating moments that her family will forever treasure such as making her children’s favorite sweets, Cowboy Cookies and Sour Patch Cookies.
Charlotte leaves behind a loving family who will deeply miss her. She is survived by her children, Carrie (Brian) Kane, T.J. Allen, and Kezia (Gary Simpson) Allen. Her legacy continues through her many grandchildren, including Molina, Arpin, Piper, James Jr., Wyatt, Hailey, Sophia, Blaze, Mariah, Marralee, William, and Andrew. The bond they shared brought joy to her life and shaped unforgettable memories.
Throughout her journey, Charlotte was supported by her loving daughter Carrie and her first grandchild Molina, who dedicated countless days and nights tending to her and standing by her side until the very end. Charlotte is also survived by her dear sisters, Judith Hart and Dixie Hayes, who will carry forward her spirit of kindness and love.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Faith Holstein and her brother William Arpin. Her absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but her love will continue to resonate in the hearts of those she touched.
Charlotte Marie Allen will be remembered not only for her gentle nature and unwavering love for her family but also for the countless lives she enriched with her presence. She was a kind, caring, and loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. May her loving spirit shine brightly in the hearts of her family and friends forevermore.
