On September 7, 1963, Betty married the love of her life, Charles Schulke, in a ceremony at St. Mary Catholic Church in Alpena. Betty was a dedicated homemaker, ensuring her home was a place of warmth and comfort. She found joy in the simple pleasures: reading, engaging with a heartfelt story, and cooking delectable meals for her loved ones. Her passion for food was as deep as her love for her family, and she took great pride in gathering everyone around the table, sharing stories and laughter.
