Bernadette M. Martin

Bernadette M. Martin, age 84, of Alpena, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 29, 2018.

            On November 27, 1933, Bernadette was born to the late Amos and Adelaide (Desmarais) Bottesi in Waucedah, Michigan. She married John W. Martin, he preceded her in death on October 17, 2012.

            Bernadette is survived by her two sons Jeff (Leslie) Martin of Waterford, MI; and Farren A. Martin of Alpena, Michigan; one granddaughter Jessica Martin and one daughter in law Lois Martin of Southfield, MI; One brother Billy Bottesi of Kingsford, MI; four sisters: Donna St. Juliana of Hermansville, MI; Darlene Bottesi of Norway; June Maynard of Norway; and Marleen Brigiglo of Frasor, MI; along with several nieces and nephews.

            She was preceded in death by one son Richard Martin and two brothers: Vernon and Donald Bottesi.

            Family and friends will gather for Visitation on Monday, April 2, 2018, at Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home from 2 PM until 4PM. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, from 12 noon until 1 PM Committal at Evergreen Cemetery.
