Anne Marie Iler

            Anne Marie Iler, age 72, of Alpena passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018, at Spectrum Heart Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

            On December 26, 1945, Anne was born in Alpena, Michigan to the late Clarence D. and Eva (Edmonds) Hilla. She married Lawrence Iler on December 26, 1966, at St. Mary Catholic Church. Anne worked as a beautician all of her life. She worked last at Foxie Lady. Anne was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, their, choir, and the Rosary Society Group 11. She enjoyed spending her time with her family, grandchildren, knitting, playing cards and helping Lawrence in the garden.

            She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Lawrence and their four children: Lawrence Lee Iler (Jane Wilson) of Chesaning, MI; Lynn (Alan) Ferrier of Lake Odessa, MI; Jonathan (Renee) Iler of Alpena, MI; Jan (Kelly) Iler of Hadley, MI; 10 grandchildren: Tammie (Eli) Davis, Shane Iler, Tyler Ferrier, Andrea (Patrick) Jaszczak, Alexis Ferrier, Jessica, Harry, and April Iler, Jesse Miller, and Courtney Iler; 8 great-grandchildren; three brothers Joseph Hilla and David (Dixie) Hilla both of Alpena, MI; John (Elizabeth) Hilla of Herron, MI; two sisters Frances Hamp and Wilma (Delmar) Neumann both of Alpena, MI; and several nieces and nephews.

            Anne was preceded in death by her brother Clare Hilla and sister Iris Hilla-Nunez.

            Family and friends will gather at St. Mary Catholic Church of All Saints Parish on Tuesday, December 18, 2018, for Visitation from 10 am until the Mass of Christian Burial begins at 11am with Fr. Joe Muszkiewicz officiating.

            Memorials may be made to Spectrum Health Centers in memory of Anne.
